About

About My Blog
Follow me over the course of 6 months as I live, work and Girl Scout in Pune, India. I am a Sangam Volunteer at Sangam World Centre, run by the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, aka WAGGGS. Sangam means “confluence,” or coming together, in Sanskrit; this blog will also be a sort of coming-together, gathering my many thoughts, adventures, observations and escapades while I’m in India.

About Me
I was born in Brooklyn and raised mostly on the South Shore of Long Island, within walking distance of Queens. I am half French and somewhat Jewish. In May 2011 I graduated from Davidson College in North Carolina with a B.A. in English. My honors thesis was a collection of short stories inspired by Celtic fairy tales. You can find me on Facebook, Twitter, and Livejournal as well.
